Little one is 10 months and for a while now has being doing this! If he’s tired he would take a bottle to fall asleep with but if he doesn’t want it because he knows it will make him fall asleep he will gag this gets to the point where he is making himself sick! So we give him his dummy cuddle him and rock him to try to to sleep but he’s tired and wants a bottle but is fighting the sleep. He will eventually work himself up crying he will take the bottle and give in. The gagging is starting to become so regular and needing changed due to being sick I don’t know what to do! I’m getting no response from my health visitor either. Do I go to my GP or is this something he will grow out of?

Have you tried feeding him maybe a half an hour before bed time so he stops associating that last bottle with bed time? On a full stomach, he may settle down a bit easier for you then with just the dummy as his comforter instead of being fed to sleep
