Is it too late to start nursing?

My little girl is 2 1/2 months and I combo feed because of low BM supply. soon I’ll be going back to work and was told that if I nursed My Babyy it would help increase my BM supply but she has a hard time staying latched on and gets very frustrated while nursing and I get anxious and just give up and run to a bottle whether it’s formula or breastmilk do you think it’s too late for her to nurse ? Maybe she’s to used to the bottle? Any tips on How to increase my BM supply ?

My daughter has a hard time getting full from nursing for over an hour so I have to have a bottle ready for when I need a break. Also a way to increase supply is to remove as much breastmilk as you can as often as you can. If you are having trouble removing the breastmilk I've found that sunflower lecithin to help with that. I also currently started using legendary milks liquid gold and I think I've had an increase in supply.

Thanks I have been trying to pump/ nurse often every 3 hrs but still haven’t seen an increase in my supply. I try to power pump once a day and after nursing my baby but still no change. I see all these videos of girls filling up jars after a pump session and all I get is 2-3 oz per session 🫤 I was considering trying blesses thistle capsules has anyone tried those for lactation?

I don’t think it’s too late to start nursing! It doesn’t hurt to try and you could also seek out a lactation consultant to help you learn how to latch her well:)

Try coconut oil and oatmeal too. It helped to increase my supply

Make sure your staying hydrated!! Lots of water and Body Armors!! They are sooo good and keep you hydrated as well.
I’ve also just recently tried chamomile tea and a spoon full of coconut oil with getting back to a routine of nursing then pumping right after to tell my body to produce more milk
Also latching for me and my babygirl was so difficult in the beginning, my mental health like everything was so bad I would cry and get stressed out when she cried because we couldn’t get latched but I didn’t give up… now she’s about to be 2 months and we latch with no problem!!

DONT GIVE UP MAMA!! Also show yourself some grace❤️ it will happen!
Also I have mam and even FLO bottles, these bottles are our favorites because they are most like an actual nipple since they flatten out! Maybe try these bottles to help too!😘🫶🏽

Thank you all of your supporting commebts are making me feel so much better 🥰
Also, How do you take the coconut oil? Just a raw spoonful? How many times a day?
We have been using the MAM bottles and pacifiers since day 1 ! We love them and choose them for that reason that they resemble a nipple bc I always knew I wanted to do both!
Thanks again momma🫶🏼💞

Ofc❤️❤️ and for the coconut oil I was turned off by just scooping and eating it raw so I put it in my tea lol just to make it easier for me to consume it but you can just spoon it😂 and I also just drank a cup of tea w the coconut oil once in the mornings! Also my lactation consultant said oats/oatmeal for sure helps with supply!!

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

New born

Finally had my baby girl via C-section on the 18th, everything has been so far. But I’ve noticed she’s very fussy and cries a lot. I’ve been trying to exclusively breastfeed. The lactation consultant at the hospital said I did look like I’m making enough milk for her. She was latching on good at the hospital and now here at home, she doesn’t seem to want to latch at all. She’s been crying a lot and very fussy. I’m just wondering is she’s colic or like maybe she just doesn’t want the breast anymore?

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?
