Hi I just wanted to post on here to get some opinions/ advice if you e gone through this.
I have a 3 month old baby who was a great sleeper and slept in his bassinet no problem at night.
Last week we brought his crib in and put it beside our bed as he kept waking himself up by hitting the edges of his bassinet. He did great all week in his crib and then three nights ago he just wouldn’t go down.
So for the last 3 nights he will only go to sleep in our bed. I’m terrified of bed sharing and know the risks, so I’ve been following the safe seven and also just not sleeping. So I’m on day 3 of no sleep sitting up watching my baby and husband sleep. I know this isn’t sustainable and I have no idea what to do.
He’s sleeping like an angel in our bed but I want him to sleep safely in his own space. If anyone has gone through this let me know what worked for you
Ps my husband has a job where he needs to be rested for safety reasons and has been waking up a bit early to give me a couple hours of sleep before he leaves for work. And if I really needed to tap out for safety he would get up.

so try and rock him into a sleep when he’s out cold transfer him. That’s the only way my babe will settle in her cot.
Also just to say, co sleeping isn’t dangerous if done correctly. For medical reasons I’ve co slept with my baby since a new born (apart from a few days when we can put her in her cot) and the cheeky monkey at 6 months old is asleep next to me as we speak.
