Hey mamas, anyone who's given birth in the UK winter time, what have you taken in your hospital bags? Have you made any lists?
I see mostly American YouTubers with such videos and I just feel confused, not ready at all...😩

I had a small suitcase with:
- Dark Towel
- Flip flops
- Pack of big pads and breast pads
- Nursing Bra x2, Big panties x5, comfy socks x3
- Pijama x1, Nightie x1, Yoga joggers x1
- Dressing gown
- Toiletry’s Bag: Hairbrush and scrunchies, toothbrush and toothpaste, dry shampoo and shower gel, deodorant, lip balm and nipple cream.
- Medication
- Sleepsuits with feet and fold over mittens x3
- Long sleeve vest + trousers with feet x2
- Hats x2, Mittens x2
- Coming home outfit for bubba and myself

What’s next to the bag is what I put inside baby’s changing bag as it was the first few things I needed after bubba was born:
- Baby first outfit
- Blanket
- Muslins x4
- Nappies
- Wipes
- Portable Nightlight/White noise (DreamEgg)
- Coconut oil (to put on baby before that first pop)
- Some snacks!
I left in the car a blanket for myself and also a pillow. The hospital was cold when I had my baby, so I assume will be similar or colder for whoever has a winter baby. I end up asking my partner to bring my blanket and pillow up. I had enough clothes to put on if needed and baby was cozy enough with her outfit and swaddled in a muslin blanket.

Thank you!
