Would anyone have any leads on infant daycare openings for Jan/Feb? Open to home daycares as well if there are any recommendations. We’ve been on lists since she was born and still having the hardest time finding anything

Try weewatch!

I agree try wee watch. Their wait lists are pretty reasonable.

our girls share the same birthday 🥰

we are on their list! They just said they don’t place them until a month prior/don’t have a wait list so nervous about whether we’ll actually have a spot

that’s odd- I would ask again. We got placed in May with our twins for September. We pushed them a bit because we were worried about finding 2 spots- but the providers want peace of mind too that they have someone lined up. And you may have to visit a few before you find one you like

Same here wee watch told us a month before as well so now we are waiting

@Brittany really? Wee watch said that? I would ask again. I have a spot for September 2024 when I return back to work.

@Brittany aww that's so fun! 🫶

We didn’t get a spot until a month before/& weeks before start date. I suggest calling the daycares you are on the waiting list and inquiring what place you are at.

How does home based daycare work? Like I know regular daycares have apps/camera access etc. Is calling in the only way to check on your kid or get an update? And does weewatch provide references/reviews? Thanks

@Zuberia It's one provider with 6 children. There isn't any cameras. I guess you can call or potentially text the provider to see how your lo is doing. I am sure there are references and reviews for the provider.
