In the shower, let the water run over it. No soaps and then stand in front of a fan to dry the area. This worked for me and the least painful way of getting it properly dry!

think I’m just worried about having bandage removed as know it’s protected under there whereas when it’s off, I feel it’ll be more vulnerable to everything!
Did any clothing etc ever get stuck to it or cause irritation?

I've found I have to roll down the top of the disposable pants as it gets irritated by that.

By the time the dressing comes off it is relatively dry and has a scab over it, mine was dry really quick.
Just let water run over it and dry with a fan, cool setting on a hairdryer or pay dry.
Try not to have clothes rub on it, but I haven't found anything hey stuck or catch at all. I'm 10days post c section. 💪🏼

They took mine off the morning after and haven't had anything on it since, it seems okay so far x

thank you :) hope you’re recovering okay x

I have seen that frieda mum do some silicone patches that are meant to help protect against infection. I haven’t personally used them so can’t comment but worth a google xx

I used a flannel, warm water and pat it to try and clean it (I don't have a shower) and pat dry, DO NOT RUB IT!! I also stood in a mirror after cleaning and lifted my stomach slightly as to not hurt myself and check the scar. I also had my partner check it if I felt worried

I'm planning on using the silicone scar patches once its all ok too.
I used them a while back when i had key hole surgery on my womb & they healed so well with no redness.
Keeps the scars moist not dried out which can heal them quicker.
Freda moms do some but are pricey i saw them on amazon alot cheaper about £13
