I’m looking for a double pram for my (what will be) only just 2 year old and a newborn. I need the car seat / iso fix included so a travel 3-1 set would be perfect!! And not wanting to spend ridiculous amounts. If anyone can recommend below I’d be grateful 🙏🏽 due in March, wanting to buy it by January. Hoping for some Black Friday sales or Christmas sales 😬

I got a 2nd hand Bugaboo Donkey 2 from Facebook marketplace. I have an almost 2yo and new baby due in Jan. I prefer the side by side prams to one up one down and bonus is I can change it from a single to double so when my toddler is in daycare I can still use it with the newborn but as a single. We still have the isofix and newborn car seat from before but I think it was only £70 new (Joie I-snug)

Can I ask; what did you pay for the bugaboo donkey on market place?? Can’t afford mamas and papas prices 😂

I found one for £350 which I thought was pretty good! It’s a 2015 model but seems in really good working order.

that’s a good price! They’re retailing at £1600+ at the moment! 🤯

do you find the side you side design better then the on top of each other prams? I can’t decide, think I’m leaning towards side by side so I can see both 🤷🏼♀️

We have 20m and 4m old, and love our icandy cerium (peach). Bought as a single boundle and then were deciding between transforming our into double (top of each other) or buying bugaboo (side by side) and I’m very happy we decided to just transform. I can’t imagine having a buggy any wider than ours I already struggle when someone leaves their bin too far out or if the pavement is narrow etc etc. also I have quite tall and big babies so can’t imagine smaller bassinets/ seats just to make them fit thru the doors (that’s how they apparently designed bugaboo)
But bottom line it’s super personal decision as I know ppl who love their double BB although they all have twins so by definition smaller babies.

I agree with Gosia it’s all personal preference. I did my research and I personally prefer the idea of having them side by side so I can see both. But the reality is my 2yo probably won’t want to be in the pram all that much so I’ll be using it as a single which is why I went for it in the end. It’s super easy to switch between single & double and the seats are so light to lift off
Obviously I’ve not used it in its double setting so can’t weigh in on the “width” of it but I do know the BB says it’s smaller than most standard double side by side but I won’t know until I use it…but my gut is telling me I won’t use it that much 😅 we had a 2nd hand mamas & papas Ocarro before so there was no way we could adapt.

I’ve been told that apparently at some point usually around 2-2.5 (depends on how early they walked) they become bored of walking as it’s not a new skill and want to be in prams more. Ours walked at 10m and I can actually feel he wants to be in pram more than before we are just ab to buy buggy boar thou as I’m in general sick of double buggy hahah
