Contractions but not dilating??? 38+5

If thinks it’s odd they sent you home especially if you’re in a ton of pain. I’d ask about getting induced at 39W if you’re super uncomfortable. It’s what I’m opting for. Most time if you’re not past 4cm they send you home. Depends on the doctors. They sent me home and I was 2cm dialted and effaced. Lately I’ve been in a ton of pain but I get induced on Thursday. They told me to tough it out until my water breaks and to take warm showers/baths. Take Tylenol and overall just rest! I’m so sorry you’re in a ton of pain, if definitely not fun towards the ends. My mucus plug (bloody show) came out then I had my 1st baby two days later . I dilated very quickly . Hopefully your baby comes soon!

I’ve had prodromal labor the past 3 weeks - feels like real labor and even looks like it when they hook you up to the machine, but zero progression. Sometimes it happens because babies position is slightly tilted, sometimes people just have active uteruses, and sometimes just because I think?

My prodromal labor happens daily, for 2-8 hours, progressive pain, follows consistent patterns, just no progression. It’s wild, but it can happen!

I still have my plug and not dilated but the contractions are strong and constant.. trying everything to get this show on the road.. I’m 39 weeks on Thursday..
