Anti reflux formula

The NHS states there's no proof those types of formulas work but it's worth a try. Alternatively you can use carobel to thicken regular formula up to make it more likely to stay down. If you mix it with reflux milk it'll be far too thick and cause constipation badly. Have you tried keeping upright for 30 mins after a feed? My son had reflux like this as a symptom of his milk allergy and we ended up on omeprazol for him and it worked wonders he's now 7 months and off it and barely throws up anymore xx

My daughter has reflux. She was constantly throwing up, but still gaining weight. Took her to the doctors who said yes it’s reflux. They tried giving her gaviscon, which helped but made her not poop, so they gave her lactulose also but still struggling with pooping. I pulled her off both these and gave her anti reflux cow and gate and she’s been perfect since. Barely sick. So personally I think it does work x

Does she have any other have issues with her poop? Does she have coughs and sneezes often and eczema or rashes? Reflux is usually a symptom of something else at this age

no, no poop issues or anything else, just throws everything up and always wants to be sitting upright

Ahhh okay. It still could be a milk allergy as sometimes reflux is the only symptom x
