Cramping

I am 15 weeks pregnant. Yesterday I had a low impact car crash. I was turning left when a pickup truck hit the backside of the passenger. Thank God nobody was harmed, nothing happened to me. I haven’t had any bleeding or anything. I called my doctor this morning and she said that since I haven’t had any bleeding then that means that the baby is fine. She said that my pelvic bone protected my baby from any impact, and plus I was wearing my seatbelt. But now I am having some light cramping and some sharp pains here and there and I’m getting worried. Is this normal.
PS. This is my first baby and everything scares me rn.

I’m also having my first atm so i completely understand I would call again if they have a 24 hour line and let them know what’s going on also if it was me I would go to the hospital sometimes I feel crazy with the things I call my ob and ask to be seen for but I would rather call then not

I mean I’ve experienced these symptoms before so it’s not like they’re new. But I’m still a little worried.

I get it even still at 32 weeks when i feel her all day I still worry about every little thing and stress myself out constantly it doesn’t hurt to call or go get checked if that would ease your stress

I would go get checked out at an ER just to make sure everything is okay! Peace of mind is always worth the trip!

It can never hurt to go get checked out, even if just for your peace of mind

yeah that helped a lot. The doctor said that the baby is tiny and still very protected. She said that she would be more worried if I was 20 weeks but since I’m not and I’m not having any issues then there’s nothing to worry about. But still, this is my first pregnancy, and it wasn’t planned so everything has happened so unexpectedly that everything scares me. I also think you’re right, I have been a lot more alert of what pains I’m feeling since the crash.

please go to the er im not sure why your doctor wouldn't suggest that immediately regardless of how serious the accident was, nor can she evaluate you properly over the phone.

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃
