Started feeling what’s described as round ligament pain these past few days (20weeks). Was nervous at first as this is my first pregnancy but my doctor & cousin (RN & momma of 2) confirmed that it’s essentially my insides shifting, stretching & making room for the baby. Lower pelvic cramping (very similar to menstrual cramps) and sometimes a shooting stabbing pain that goes into my vagina. Super uncomfortable, especially at night. Anyone else experiencing? Any remedies?

Experiencing these things myself. I've been managing by soaking in the tub each night for 30 minutes and recently got a belly band to take stress off my lower back. The extra support has really been helping my back and pelvic soreness!

my belly band just came in the mail so will definitely try. Do you put anything in the water while soaking?

I haven't yet but I've been meaning to get some Epsom salts and try that too

Girl its killing me. It's like the V muscles around the bottom of my belly. It kicked into high gear the past couple days and everytime I stand it hits me. I need to start wearing a belly support band already i guess. That helped a lot in my last pregnancy.
Also I'm getting the symphis pubis disorder (SPD) back again 😭😭 it feels like someone is driving a hatchet into your pubic joint. Its mild right now... but I know how bad this shit gets. Gotta get in for PT asap....

no one warned me about this!! All the pregnancy videos and symptoms you hear about, I’ve never heard this one! This pregnancy has been smooth sailing so far, then boom! A taste of reality and reminder that I’m in fact pregnant..lol. Hoping you get some relief soon as this is no fun!

yeah there are soooo many weird things that happen to your body when pregnant.... get a support band! They help a lot!

I just got through a week long episode of consistent round ligament pain. I finally got relief by using kinesiology tape and Googling ways to tape a pregnant belly. This was week 20-21 for me. The heating pad was a little helpful, and I did soak in a bath as well to help with pain management at night. My midwife just advised making sure I kept the water under 100 degrees F
