The witching hour

Hi there, is anyone's LO fine in the day, but once 6 pm hits, an absolute demon until 12 am??
It's only been the last 4 nights, but it's exhausting, and i hate she's crying so much, but nothing i do will settle her. It makes me feel like a terrible mum. She's 7 and half weeks.
Is anyone else going through this and/or have any tips on how to ease it for LO? xx

I don’t have any tips but we had the same for the whole week we didn’t do anything it’s just stopped one night… it will pass don’t worry and you are not a terrible mum it had nothing to do with you …

We have the same every night... I've found putting the hairdryer on for 5 mins snaps her out of it and buys some time to comfort her.

I'm in the same boat but my little one is 6 and a half weeks now. It's something to do with growth apparently according to my health visitor. She did say It will pass soon x

Mines the same age and going through this aswell! It's really common. Last night grandparents were round so she was held constantly and she was a little better, we also had a bath and that settles her aswell, but I don't want to bath her every day.
I got a sling yesterday as I read that baby wearing can help them. Look up purple crying, it has some hints to help!

Yep! 7 weeks and same thing - crying from 5 or 6 for a lot of the evening! No solution yet!
