Leg pain

I had a C-section 7 days ago. I’ve had swelling in my feet and legs which I understand is normal, however lately my left leg has had an aching pain. I haven’t noticed any redness or heat. Obviously blood clots are a scary possibility so when should I be worried? Is it normal for there to be pain with my swelling? And what else should I be on the lookout for?

Sorry to hear that, my legs swole up so bad my Dr. Had to put me on special medication to take down the pain and swelling. Maybe you should ask your Dr. about it. Keep your feet elevated, stay away from salt, you will have to change the way you eat, salt makes it worse

Hey, I’m exactly the same as this it’s been 6 weeks since I gave birth via c-section. I suffered with restless legs throughout my pregnancy but the ache I’m experiencing now is totally different, almost hard to explain but the same as you no other symptoms of any clots or swelling. It’s driving me insane

I had this too after my C-section

Measure your calf’s with a tape measure (make sure it’s the same spot on both-usually an inch down from the bottom of your knee) and if there is a considerable difference then I’d definitely go and get checked! I think it’s over 2 inches here-but I’m not sure of that part!

Sorry to hear xx I recall this years ago after mine. I raised my legs and would
Soak them in warm water but so
Speak to your health professionals if you’re worried - speedy recovery and congrats on your new born

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?

Thank you
