Chlamydia @37 weeks

Hi! Please no judgement,
I am aware of how I contracted the STI (unfaithful partner) but am curious to see if anyone has been through this before. I found out so late in my pregnancy I am worried about my baby. I found out today in lab test results but after my OB office was closed, I will call tmrw morning and make an appointment to get antibiotics but is it enough time to help before my baby comes? Is there any other steps I’m missing?

So I haven't been through it, but I'm so sorry you have to deal with this!

I'd say you're on track, and calling your OB is the first step. They should be able to take it from there and get you sorted.

Personally, I'd go to the hospital to get treated rn. I'm so sorry girl

I cannot offer advice but here to show you love and support babe. I can only imagine your feelings and stress let alone heartbreak and disbelief.

thank you all for the support and advice! My OB gave me an antibiotic this morning, she said it should be cured by the birth and even if it’s not they would just give me extra antibiotics and all will be fine with the baby, a relief honestly bc that was my biggest concern.

Bless them! I pray that things only get better from here.

I had it when pregnant for first child in 2010, the antibiotics then were just for a few days and then I was good, just do not have relations with him again unless he has been treated for it as well, and whomever he was with treated too, or you can end up with it again.

Sadly at 37 weeks you could give birth at any time but the good news is your doctor will be able to make sure you get it as soon as possible and make sure to follow through with your birth with safe measures. It’s sad because too many women find out during their pregnancy and it breaks hearts

Lost friends since being a mum

Good morning! Can anyone relate to this!

My two friends and me have always been close since our early teens. I’m the first to have a baby.

One friend has big house, career and boyfriend

Other out of a long term relationship and being single having fun etc

Before baby we would all hang at my
Apartment, chat eat and just have
Fun.

Now I don’t even get a text to ask how my baby is, how I am. I really thought they would be awesome aunties. But honestly they don’t care.

They meet up a lot to do cool things, which I can’t be upset about as I can’t as I have my baby.

I don’t know I feel sad about it.

Am I over reacting?

31 weeks pregnant and lonely

How to deal with loneliness in pregnancy when your boyfriend goes out with his friends drinking 😅🥲 I only have three friends, two are never really free and one lives back in Liverpool and has her own set of friends where she goes to raves and goes on holiday with them lol. My boyfriend is going out soon for the night as it’s sunny and I’ll just be sat here crying like every single time! When does it stop 🤣
