I was told my 20 weeks scan was going to be high risk due to some medical issues. When I had it, the sonographer told me and my hubby she won’t do it as it was booked as low risk and asked to contact my midwife. Due to some miscommunication between midwives- my midwife was on sick, I’m just turning 39 weeks and chasing up that scan. And my midwife said the sonographer put on the report that she did do a high risk scan after all. I said no. She didn’t. Midwife chased it up with consultant and he wants me to have the growth scan ASAP. I’m pissed off. What should I do? I really want to report that person. She was rude and she lied about my scan!

The NHS have a complaints procedure: https://www.england.nhs.uk/contact-us/feedback-and-complaints/complaint/complaining-to-nhse/

So did the sonographer not do any type of report or did she do the wrong one and lie? Either way big complaint! Theres PALs or go direct to maternity complaints (will probs be different in different trusts)
She did type the report but despite the fact that she only did the basic low risk anatomy scan, she stated in the report that she performed high risk scan and it was all fine - no other details explaining how she came up with “it’s fine” conclusion so consultant is rushing me to get another scan tomorrow.
