My little one is now 8 weeks of age and due to have her 1st vaccines tomorrow they say that it’s a six on one vaccination and can’t be split, and second vaccine of meningitis. We only want polio, tetanus, diphtheria, and whooping cough. We want Rsv vaccine as well but not one available yet ? I don’t want the live vaccines for her due to more than one person helping look after her. What do you suggest!

Could I just ask why you don’t want her to have the live one because of people looking after her? Just curious as mines just had his x

They say only one person to care for baby with live vaccines and feed and bath them, there are four of us that care for my little one not just me X

what’s your provenance for this? This seems not a good enough reason for life saving vaccines? And doesn’t state this on NHS website.

Anyone can look after her after she’s had live vaccines as long as you all follow good hygiene practices I.e washing hands before and after nappy changes

Nothing was mentioned to me about only having one person care for my lg and she had all her vaccines last week. Was just told to double wrap her nappies and wash hands thoroughly otherwise we could end up poorly x
