So for bed I put my baby boy in a long sleeve vest, bqbygrow and 2.5 tog sleeping bag however with it getting colder through the night when he’s been waking up on a morning his hands and face are like ice. I want to put a blanket on him as well to keep his hands warm but he’s putting it over his face can’t win hahah😂 what does everyone else do?

Gloves underneath babygrow mits or socks if gloves don’t stay on x

I would add socks and mittens and perhaps even put the heating on just for an hour or so to heat up a bit before a blanket. I get quite anxious with blankets and sleeping! Are you tucking it under the mattress? That being said babies do wake up if they get too cold so if he’s not waking then I imagine he’s okay. Better to be cold and he wake up than he overheat x

I do it with my little girl it's normal for some babies it's a comfort thing what I did was get a breathable blanket I got mine of amazon hers the link https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08KY7DCYZ/ref=sspa_mw_detail_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9kZXRhaWwp13NParams

We put a cellular blanket over her so it she does pull it over her face it’s not a massive issue as she can breath through it x

My LO has woken up for 2 days in a row at around 5am, his hands and cheeks are ice cold so I think we need to put the heating on tonight and see if that will keep him asleep, or it might be easier to add socks to his hands instead, once he’s awake he will be ok to go back to sleep after 30mins or so but it’s not ideal for us all to have such broken sleep as he is still waking up for feeds as well
