Aptamil or Kendamil?

Hi girliesss! Hope you’re having a great day with your lil bubbas.. however, I want to start combi feeding but don’t know which formula to get.
I’ve been using Aptamil ready made bottles when I go out with her, but wanted to try kendamil.
I’m a bit scared as some people said kendamil is bad.

Which one do you prefer? Would you leave some reviews please?😿

We use kendamil too! Never had any issues

We use Kendamil as well and never had issues. We changed from Aptamil to Kendamil when she was 2 weeks old.

kendamil is great! we did originally use aptamil but she didn’t get on with it x

It will be trial and error. My lo was on kendamil and didn’t get on with it but I’ve never tried aptamil xx

We have used Kendamill from the start. A lot of the choices as to how good it is are made by the parents rather than if baby likes it or not e.g. cost, environmentally friendly etc. We chose it because it is UK made (supporting British farmers and factories) and has no palm oil or additives we can't work out.

Try it for a week or so, see how baby gets on. If they are refusing it (and not just refusing bottle in general), then try a different one :)

My daughter did not like kendamil ( even paediatrician said to now listen the advert of it as is just marketing). We swap with Aptamil but my daughter started to reject it after 2 months of using it. She does not like the UK ones so I’m looking to buy Hipp or change with other brand from home that are 100% better on tastes. You should try Hipp as many people recommend it

I used kendamil for the first 2/3 months but my little boy has reflux and it wasn’t agreeing with him, changed to aptamil and his stomach issues went away almost instantly and he was happier, still got reflux obvs but he was better in himself xx

I tried aptamil and it didn’t agree with him. Use kendamil now and we love it x

We started with Kendamil but it wasn’t agreeing with him now I use cow and gate

Kendamil is sooo much better than aptamil. I had to take my son off it. Kendamil is great !

My son really didn’t like the taste of kendamil, but aptimal has been working. I honestly think it’s trial and error and you gave to try them and see what he likes!

On kendamil too and no issues just beware the kendapoos 🤣

My baby girl is on kendamil and she absolutely loves it and it’s so creamy but every baby is different and might not take to the milk x

I would say if Aptamil works don't change it because it's possible she might not tolerate others as well, plus she's used to the taste of it

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

He use to sleep through the night now he is waking up every single night in the early morning, I've had to transition him to a toodler bed as he kept climbing out his cot. Just need some advice on what I can do to help him get back in to a sleep pattern?

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
