I have a pregnancy tumor

I feel like honestly that’s just your gums being irritated which is a symptom of pregnancy. Swollen , irritated and bleeding gums. Can’t hurt to check though … never go to google first

Dental hygienist here! Totally normal side effect with pregnancy! Almost always goes away on its own after childbirth/cease breastfeeding. Best piece of advice is keep up with your dental home care as best you can! Even if your gums are bleeding more than usual, keep flossing!

Also don’t be afraid of the word “tumor” in this incident. Tumor just means any growth on your body.

Hi, I’m a dental therapist and this is called a “pregnancy epilus”. It’s hormone related and will go when baby is born. Keep the gums clean with a soft toothbrush xx
