Short car seat straps?
Hey y’all so I have the grace safe modes car seat. I feel like I’m going crazy. My one year old is almost as big as my two year old. The car seat straps are too short for my one year old. I pushed the button at the bottom and pulled out the straps as far as they can go. However I’ve had to take his coat off him in the car just so he can be comfortable. Even with that it’s still snug. Does anyone else have this problem? Is it time for a new car seat?

yup! I am a certified technician! You can message me for any car seat questions. No coats in the car, then your child will not be secured properly and in case of a case, can be ejected from the car seat

He shouldn’t have a coat at all in the car seat ever to begin with. Can you post a picture of the car seat? The straps may need adjusted. Read your manual thoroughly
