Hello,
I’m a mum of 34 months old girl, and she goes to private daycare nursery and some classes on weekdays.
I would like to know what to give to nursery teachers and the other teachers on the last day before Christmas.
Is this OK just give a Christmas card? Or add a small chocolate or something? Or should I add more proper present?
Since I’m expat, I totally have no idea what to give, it would be very appreciated if someone let me know.

As an instrument teacher (so slightly different) - card is lovely. Small chocolate is very appreciated. Anything more is nice but not necessary. Especially for a wean, a card will probably be plenty enough

I work in early years and much prefer just a card. If the child can write their name or just make their own mark on the card it’s much more special to me. I’m always grateful for gifts but they don’t mean anything more to me than a little card :)

I’d say if you do a gift make it something that can be used up, as opposed to something that might end up in a drawer. I picture teachers having lots of cups!

Thank you for letting me know that! We’ll write cards for sure! Could you please let me know one more thing, can I call women I not sure if she is married or not, as Miss? Or Mrs would be better?

Thank you for letting me know! I’ll let my daughter write some marks or drawings in cards, because she can’t write her name yet.

Thank you, that makes sense! I’m quite sure that a cup is not good idea. Maybe proper chocolate or gift card are better if I’ll give a present other than a Christmas card.

see what your child calls them - I’m a Mrs but often get Miss on Christmas cards and I’m not fussed.
