Baby won’t fit into clothes 😩

Up until now she’s been fine but I’m finding that for baby grows etc I’m having to size up now. She’s almost 8months and she’s fitting into 9-12m. I’m wondering if anyone else is having the same issue? I also have never been able to get her to fit into any jeans or leggings etc as the waist is always too small for her. Has anyone else got the same issue? If so what have you done?

Yeah my little one seems to fit in 9-12months which looks more comfortable, 6-9 fits but a little tight and his quite tallso his little feet look squashed bless him, so I had to size up, I bought so much 6-9 outfits and im so gutted lol

me too! She only fit into 6-9 for the first few weeks of being 6 months 😭😭 I’ve maybe got 1 wear out if some outfits if that! 😭

We're about to move up to 9-12 too! My daughter is tracking in her weight % so I'm not worried.

Adults are all different heights and clothes sizes, even between shops I'll be a different size! If she's healthy and happy it's not an issue I'd say?

Agree a bit annoying buying clothes again! I just do big bundles on vinted for ease. My friend skipped right to 12-18 months and just rolled the sleeves up 😁

My son was always a size about the size he was supposed to be, I just started buying things 1-2 sizes bigger and having him wear more oversized things, even now that he’s slowed down with his growth I’ll shove bigger so he has room to grow

Yes we are the same, waist bands are always looking uncomfortable so I size up and then I end up rolling up the cuffs on the trousers or long sleeved tops

My son is currently 7 months and we've just started using 12-18 month baby grows xx

7 months and in some brands we wear 12-18mo 😅

My lo has just turned 8months and I've swapped his wardrobe over to the 12-18 month stuff we have from his older brother, he's still in the 9-12m Christmas outfits I'd bought but the leggings were a bit tight and the bodysuits started pulling on his shoulders as he's quite tall and long in the body! Some bits are massive but brands like gap I find run small!

7.5 months and in 12-18 babygrows now. She’s so long/tall and the smaller size was small on her toes which I didn’t like.

My lo has been in 9-12 for a while as she's chunky and we had the same problem, the waist felt too tight. Just put them in whatever fits, it's doesn't matter

Avatar

Ahh thanks guys at least it seems pretty normal to size up! Have any of you had any comments from health visitors when getting your babies weighed? I’m not over feeding but my LO moved up 2 percentiles since she was born. I’m worried they would be concerned

Avatar

Screw what the HV says, as long as your babies happy and healthy that’s all that matters (personal opinion here but I swear hvs are just there to make parents feel shit, I’ve refused to see mine since little man was 7 weeks old)
And 2 centiles is nothing my boy was born 50 centile and he’s now >99 centile 🤣

Pregnant with baby 2

Hi everyone! I gave birth via emergency c section 9 months ago as my baby boy was measuring big, he pooped inside so there was risk of him inhaling it and I wasn’t progressing past 3cm to have a natural birth and now I’m currently 20 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby. I’m having a consultation on Tuesday to talk about birth options and to have any questions answered but I don’t know what to ask. I feel like it would be safer having a c section again but at the same time I don’t want a c section. Does anyone have any question ideas I could ask or any advice/stories of similar situations. Tia

Anyone else felt like this?

Hi, I’m 4 months postpartum, little one sleeps through the night and is formula fed, the last week I’ve felt extremely tired and very hungry! Just wondered if anyone else has felt this way/experienced this?

Hey what are your current symptoms?

I’m 37+5

I’m pretty mobile still but anything over a hour or 2 and I’m in discomfort

Getting up from a sitting position is hard

Some of baby’s movements now are bordering on painful especially around my crotch/pelvis

I’m exhausted very easily and nap every single day

Can basically only breathe out my mouth now and I’m snoring and dribbling 😂

Standing in one leg is very painful 😂

Some waves of pain/ tightening but I regular and mild

Low period type aches

And I feel like a fire breathing dragon with this acid reflux

My nose is growing 😂

My fingers swell slightly and go numbs in my sleep so that and constant toilet breaks keep me up ( checked swelling with MW and consultant and all normal, not a worry)

I also do not want to be social in person like I’d rather everyone just be my penpal atm lol

What are your symptoms?

I have a feeling like I might get attacked from this but I’m going to say it anyways. incognito 🥸 GLP1s being mainstream for regular people who are NOT diabetic or morbidly obese is bad for so many reasons 💉💉💉

Side affects, long term dependency, supply shortages and costs, regaining the weight back as soon as you get off them.. all that ASIDE how do people not see just from a zoomed out perspective how crazy it is. I can’t imagine being someone facing food insecurity in an underdeveloped country and watching westerners give themselves daily jabs so they can lose weight while still eating a calorie surplus/ crappy foods. It’s giving hunger games when district 12 Katniss finds out at the party at the capital that people eat and then take a pill to make themselves sick so they can 🤮 and eat some more. These ads running ozempic everywhere are disgusting, and then getting amazing athletes like Serena Williams to push them talking bout “i’ve never been healthier” girl you were an OLYMPIC athlete wym??
