Circumcision in Toronto

Hi! For those of you who chose to/are planning to circumcise your son, where did you/are you doing it? I've heard a lot of people go to sick kids but they are booked through mid January right now so I'm hoping to find other reputable places where I can take my son sooner. Thank you!

My baby was born at Scarborough general and they did it right there in the hospital

Hey might be a long commute for you but I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Roland Sing at Gentle procedures clinic Mississauga. My son was barely in any pain. He just cried for the first few hours. His recovery was so much quicker.

we also went there for my son. He cried after we got home when he peed. Was an easy recovery after a week was all good to go

I had the best experience last week for my son at Gentle Procedures in Etobicoke. My son didn’t cry one bit only when they put the anesthesia he showed a little discomfort. That’s all. The whole experience was quick and painless. Loved it

Am terrified cause I waited a month and have an an appointment at mark greenberg office this Tuesday! Praying he has a speedy recovery. He also has gas issues.. praying for th best

The earlier you do it, the better because they don’t feel much pain. We got it done when he was a month old.

A lot of places I’ve found only do it up to like 3 ish months in went to McMaster children’s hospital in Hamilton. It would be a commute for you but I recommend! My little guy was all healed in 10 days. Another thing too I’m not sure if was mentioned or just common knowledge (it wasn’t for me lol) but it is NOT covered by Ohip since it’s not necessary and is considered a cosmetic surgery or a body modification. It costed us about $600 I believe, but I bet you could find someone cheaper depending on the dr! Good luck!

Dr Sheldon Wise is at 3910 Bathurst Street... He did for my son at only a few weeks old.. very good place and staff.. we didn't have to pay for it

Oh yeah the older babies get, it gets more expensive. It was $435 for my baby.

My husband and I weren’t in agreement until now but now my son is 10 months and I feel like this is too late and it’ll be a traumatic experience for him. Might just not do it and let him decide for himself. Thoughts? I was the one in favour and husband wasn’t

I used Dr. David Levin. https://torontocircumcision.com/

Do men really enjoy fellatio?

Been together more than 10 years, but it's been a while since he even seemed remotely interested in me getting on my knees, or vice versa so to speak. I think it was once last year. Must be something I am doing wrong 🤔. Generally everything else in that department is great and we have two young kids with no extra support, so it's quite surprising we can't keep our hands off each other but may need to try new things. It's basically 2 positions each time with some foreplay.

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Car seat crying

My 6 month old PANICS the second I put him in a car seat and screams, cries, chokes and recently even projectile vomited on a 14 minute drive. It’s gotten to the point I don’t even bring him out unless it’s to a doctors appointment. I’m a stay at home mom with no family in my state and it has been very isolating. We’ve tried 3 different car seats with no improvement. Has anyone had a baby who hated the car seat? Any advice? This started at 3 months. I will add it does seem worse when he’s tired. He does cry on every trip though. He only contact naps and co sleeps so he reaches for me and will not sleep in the car seat.

Naps

How is everyone doing for naps?

Little one is 9 months old and will have 2 half hour naps and one solid 1 hour - 2 hour nap a day

Then settles for night around 9pm. Wakes for a feed around 3:30 then sleeps until 6-7

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.
