Canned chicken during pregnancy

I am 28 weeks and I still can’t decide. Is canned chicken OK? I will check for BPA labels but other than that is it safe? There’s not that much info on the Internet and my dietitian isn’t that knowledgeable about pregnancy diets. I haven’t had a chance to ask the doctor. But I am craving it so badly today (craving tuna but my doc said no tuna). Thoughts?

For both of my pregnancies my doctor has approved canned tuna and canned chicken. I’ve had two seperate dr’s. You just need to limit the tuna one. Canned chicken is safe while pregnant

@Carson Jones thanks!

You can definitely have tuna... just make sure its chunk light not pure white. And limit to about 2 per week max. I eat tuna regularly and did with my daughter too. And yes you can also have canned chicken. The only potential issue with it is the high sodium, but if you dont have any blood pressure issues then it's no big deal at all.
