I woke up today so motivated like okay! New year, new start! I'm getting her to nap in her crib!!
20 mins before her nap was due - popped her back in her sleep bag, gave her some milk and started playing white noise.
10 mins before her nap was due - put her in her crib with her dummy and a comforter
Cue 20 minutes of her rolling around in her crib and singing to herself (with building aggression 😂)
Took her out after 20 minutes and cuddled her to sleep - let her sleep on me for 10 mins before transferring her into her crib where she slept for 6 whole minutes 🫠🫠🫠
Any tips from anyone who has successfully made the change??
(Ft. The look of butter wouldn't melt 😂)

I had the same attitude today, put her in her cot and her eyes opened straight away, after the third time, I gave up 😖

New year new us to 🤣🥲 here goes to sleep training from co sleeping for us. She slept in her crib all night long apart from an hour with me as we still have 1 night feed so when she woke up I transferred her to mine and fed her we both fell asleep so I transferred her back to her crib 1 hour later where she slept through amazingly! I did give the same atmosphere in her crib maybe that helped so you can try. So I put a small pillow by her head and a small duvet on her as that would be how she is in my bed!

yeah same here, sleep training is definitely not something I'm willing to consider.
I'll give that a try - thank you! What do you do to make sure she's safe on the bed?

Following as I have a contact napper!

Look for the sleep cues first. Put baby into sleeping tog. Give a cuddle but move baby semi awake. If baby wakes then put one hand either on chest holding their hand or under their cheek and then use the other hand to stroke out the eyebrows to soothe them back to sleep. This works for us and our lb now goes down at night ready to sleep with no contact.
I give soother but if it’s spat out I go in to move it so it doesn’t interfere with him tossing or turning during sleep.
