My LO is 3 months old today and has always been the most amazing sleeper (waking once a night or on occasion 2 times a night since 6 weeks and self soothes from awake for the last month). But for the last 3 days, she has been only able to sleep on us at night, needing soothing to sleep, fighting sleep and taking up to 2 hours to fall asleep again after feeding.
Her day sleep has become similar too with shorter naps (which I know is developmentally about right). We are finding she is almost “wired” at night and literally just chatting away so loud all night if we don’t spend hours settling her. Is this the sleep regression or just a developmental leap?? She has recently found her voice and become super interactive too so I thought maybe that???

When my 2 year old was the same age we went through the same thing, he grew out of it eventually but it was tough, I never found out the answer as to why he did it

This is so funny I could’ve written this 🤣 my little boy is 12 weeks, has slept through the night since 6 weeks old and ALWAYS self soothed after a bottle in the night and I could literally go back to sleep not having to worry 🤣 all of a sudden the last 2/3 days he’s needed settling/soothing back to sleep and it’s taking AGES to be able to put him back down, to the point where we might as well just get up for the day. I feel like a twat for moaning because he’s still sleeping 21:00-05:00/06:00 which is amazing and some other parents barely get 30 minutes of sleep but i’m just not used to it lol. I’m guessing it’s all developmental 🤷🏽♀️

Probably a leap, look at wonder weeks app. They will probably go back to normal eventually
