Partner said some hurtful things

I am pregnant currently and last night my partner said what I think some really hurtful things. Using words like “I don’t like you in that” “you look like crap when you wear that” and “you need to make more effort for me to be attracted to you”
Should I be with someone who thinks this of me?
I has been very upsetting to me to hear those things especially as i’d never dream of saying anything like that to him.

No! You deserve better especially while being pregnant!

You have every right to be hurt and questioning if you should be in this relationship. If you're unhappy and these comments aren't just a 'I think you'd suit xyz peice of clothing instead', then I would seriously consider if you want to be with someone who is putting you down to diminish your self confidence/self worth. You deserve much better, as does your child in the future 🖤

What a nasty, spiteful excuse of a man.

Have a talk with him first and see the motives behind why he used those words and see if he meant it that way or if he just expressed things wrong.

Honestly, I could dress in a bin bag and ask my partner how I looked and he would say beautiful as ever. But also, he is the first person to tell me if something doesn’t suit me and he won’t walk on eggshells when saying it 😊 which as much as sometimes I feel “oh my god he’s not attracted to me in this”; I appreciate his honesty

That’s no way to speak to someone you love. Big red flag alert!

That's not nice at all! Maybe talk to him and see why he said it? Did he compliment you pre pregnancy?
I'd be hurt if my other half Said it, but then ask him to show me what he thought would look better

Young mum

Hi guys,

I’m just wondering if there’s any other young parents that are getting further into their pregnancy and like, genuinely just clocking that I’m gonna be responsible for a baby and I don’t know everything their is to know about baby’s I feel like I’m gonna be so useless and accidently be the worst mum in the world 🫣

Does anyone else feel like this? Or felt like this? I’m 19 and genuinely have so much anxiety about this now I’m 20 weeks lol

So annoyed, dog jumped on me :( now I’m anxious

I have a big dog and she NEVER jumps.. today I came home and my mum was with me visiting and my dog must have just got over whelmed and she jumped and ended up scratching my lower back,

with that I’ve bent backwards almost and stretched my lower belly and it didn’t hurt as such just felt like tha shock ligament pain but ofc I haven’t actually bent that far since being pregnant and now I just feel anxious really and just need some reassurance. It only happened about 15 mins ago and I have felt baby a little since

But why is there always something to worry about!😭
