During labour I had an epidural and then a spinal block due to needing an emergency C-section. Since having my baby I have had back problems and wondered if anyone else also experienced this? I've never had back problems before or even during pregnancy. I wouldnt say it was extremely painful, just feels 'not right' and uncomfortable

I do! I had two epidurals as the first one failed. I'd say my back pain also gets worse in the evening and it's definitely in the same place that both epidurals were sited. I read online that it's something to do with soreness at the site of the injection or nerve damage. My mum also said she had it for a while after giving birth to both myself and my siblings. Xx

I’m on this table. I’ve had back problems since my delivery. Had a vaginal birth with just gas and air but after the birth of my little one, I needed stitches and was wheeled to the theatre, hence, a spinal was used. Since then, my back has not been the same at all. I hope it gets better as it’s uncomfortable

I have back ache. I had spinal with my first emergency c section but not with this birth, 7weeks PP, just had gas and air, local for stitches.
I believe it is because my stomach muscles are still weak so back is doing the hard work. I have a tummy wrap for support that helps.

I had an epidural vaginal birth and my back suddenly just goes when walking and sometimes whilst I’m bending .

Im still suffering 9 months later same situation as yours x if your in UK you can do a self referral for physio and they’ll see you quite quickly to help with exercises etc xx
