Did your partner stay with you for induction?

Is your partner going with you for induction? I don’t know whether my husband should just come once I’m in more established labour, or just be with me for the whole process?

Mine didn’t, I was on my own on the ward and he just visited after work. He did unfortunately miss the birth as my waters broke in the night on the ward (partners aren’t allowed to stay overnight at my hospital unless you’re on delivery suite) and things progressed too quickly.

Only for visiting hours, until it was time to move to labour and delivery.

Mine isn't staying overnight as the isn't somewhere for him to sleep so a good idea at least one of us has had a decent night sleep!

Sorry I didn’t mean overnight if I’m not in established labour and on the labour ward. Just wasn’t sure if he should be planning to coming with me during the daytime before I’ve started to actually have contractions. Suppose it could all take ages in which case he could be at home working and not start paternity, or it could be quick

Mine came with me to get me settled and then went home. They called him once I was in established labour

When I was in the ward before I went to the labour ward there were 4 others who had been induced and only one of them had the partner stay with them (during visiting hours). The nurses on the ward were encouraging partners to go home and rest, and said they would call when they were transferred to labour ward ☺️

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?

Thank you

Random one!

My 5 month old has only ever had tears from one eye the other has never had a single tear, it doesn't look red gunky or anything just never had a tear?
Is this anything to worry about ? I did ask the doctor while she was younger but it's still going on!
