My OB office unfortunately doesn’t have a ultrasound technician so I had to go to another place that offers ultrasounds. It was the worst experience as they didn’t even react or tell me if everything was fine or if something was wrong. And I didn’t even get a print out of the ultrasound. Complete different experience that I had hoped for and this was so important to me as this is my first ultrasound appointment to ensure everything is fine.
My question: the baby’s head is was down instead of up in other ultra sound photos I’ve seen at 8 weeks. Does it matter?

Totally normal, our baby was “upside down” at that stage too! Sorry you had such a rubbish experience, I think they forget that although it’s just their daily job for us it’s a HUGE deal! X

I’m so sorry you had a bad experience:( however at 8 weeks it doesn’t matter which way they are facing

I had 4 scans before my 12 week scan as they thought I was having an ectopic pregnancy, turned out I wasn’t. Anyway I was pregnant with twins and one past the week before my 12 week scan, meaning I never got any scans pictures (would of been nice as it’s a difficult time, would of liked the memory) anyway I was always told you only get scan pictures at your 12 and 20 weeks scans unless you go private and pay! Also baring everything placed correct and heartbeats etc all other things they can’t/wont say as they are too tiny to check or things haven’t formed yet. Like the placenta isn’t formed until week 12 so nothing much to say on that! Xx
thank you❤️appreciate your response so much. It feels so much better to have a answer and know everything is probably ok🫶
