19 weeks posterior placenta and no movement

Hello all - I hope 2024 is treating you well so far.

I'm trying to not let my anxious thoughts get the better of me ( trying being the key word), but I'm 19 weeks and yet to feel any movements.

This is my first pregnancy and I was told that you tend to feel more with a posterior placenta and yet I've yet to and worried that this is a bad sign.

Has anyone else experienced this at all?

Thanks xx

My first pregnancy, I didn't feel until about 21-24 weeks.... or at least I didn't realise what I was feeling.

Sometimes it's so light you don't realise what it is.

Don't panic, you will feel it soon, mumma

Scared about dangerous side effects from MMR - did you and/or your baby have problems with it?

I had a really bad reaction from it when I was 1 and I’m nervous about giving it to my baby because of that. Then again that was 27 years ago so I’m wondering if it was just that time. Did you have a bad reaction? Did your baby?

Anxiety about my bump

I’m 23 weeks pregnant and I’ve been starting to worry a little about my bump and movement. I do feel the baby move, but sometimes it feels like there’s not much movement for a while and then it picks back up again. I’m also not sure if my bump looks as big as it ā€œshouldā€ for this stage, which has me overthinking everything.

I’m a first-time mom, so honestly I don’t really know what’s normal and what’s not yet. I’m trying not to stress myself out, but it’s hard not to when you just want to make sure everything is okay.

For moms who’ve already had kids, was this normal for you around 23 weeks? Did movement come and go? And did you ever worry about your bump size? I’d really appreciate any advice or reassurance šŸ¤
