My daughter is exclusively breastfeed, however she would always take a bottle of my breast milk before. Over the last couple of weeks it’s a fight to get her to have the bottle. She will either completely refuse to have any milk from a bottle or she will have 10/20ml and not drink the rest but will have a full feed from the boob straight after trying the bottle. Has anyone else experienced this and got any advice on how to get her enjoying bottles again. Would like to be able to give dad the chance to feed her or for me to have a few hours away to myself every now and again

Try getting a breast shaped tip that normally I went through that phase with my daughter

Following bcos me too!! She has a bottle from her dad every morning (she’s 6.5 weeks) and now she won’t take the bottle but then has a whole feed on my boob 😭😭

@Hannah Awwe cute sometimes it will be that way. She's still new so I would give it maybe a month or two

We had exactly the same situation and turned out bubs had a sore throat so that’s why she only wanted the boob rather than bottle as it was a comfort for her. So we gave her calpol before bottle and this seemed to work
