Advice or pointers

Hey just looking for some pointers or advice.
My son has been by my side ever since he was born and only breastfed, especially when he’s tiered and goes to sleep. He doesn’t take a bottle. He’s 1 and hasn’t started walking yet. I want to go back to work and school but nervous. How will someone soothe him without my boob? Will he be able to sleep long enough without me there? How well will he eat?
Am I over reacting as a mom? 😕

He will get use to it but you need to prepare him at home daycares are vary scheduled and routine based so do your research to see which one best fits your philosophy your lo with eventually get use to it if you plan for a sitter start the environment with you present any person who is watching him and has experience will figure it out as it’s not the first baby that they’ve watched that’s been through it consistently is key practice bottle at home with another caregiver or yourself and they are gonna fight it but one bottle everyday will get them use to ot and since he’s one he has a better understanding make it scarce and act like you want the bottle first and he will be curious and want what mom wants also I recommend an open latch bottle like evenflo wide balance or something that gives the open latch

those are all valid feelings you are going through … your baby will find a way to cope, with my first I had to go back to work fast and so I started by weaning her off slowly during the day. less feeds more distractions, kept her full and spilt bottle feedings with others so she wasn’t getting it only from me. you may want to try all kinds of nipples to see what your baby likes most. it’s a rough start but you’ll both get through it 🩷🩷🩷

also babies don’t starve themselves, he will drink eventually from the bottle especially if it’s breast milk

I’d talk to a lactation specialist! But if you’re not around he might take the bottle and if he doesn’t he won’t starve he will just wait for you to return! Is he eating foods and drinking water ? Don’t feel guilty for wanting to go back into the working world! Baby boy will adjust with time

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

6 month old autistism

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

New born

Finally had my baby girl via C-section on the 18th, everything has been so far. But I’ve noticed she’s very fussy and cries a lot. I’ve been trying to exclusively breastfeed. The lactation consultant at the hospital said I did look like I’m making enough milk for her. She was latching on good at the hospital and now here at home, she doesn’t seem to want to latch at all. She’s been crying a lot and very fussy. I’m just wondering is she’s colic or like maybe she just doesn’t want the breast anymore?
