We changed from cow and gate to Aptamil comfort and infacol ( before every bottle) we have seen a difference- a lot less crying. However he does a lot less poo’s. He normally poos every 3 days and the HV said it’s probably because of the aptamil comfort ( not sure if she was just trying to force BF - which is all she does 😩)
I had this same issue he was in a lot of pain there was nothing we could do to comfort him we took him in the car at 4 in the morning driving round to soothe him but I’ve come to learn a lot of bottle fed baby’s get colic I tried changing to SMA comfort but but it made his poos a lot more frequent and really runny then switched back to kendamil because it’s not the milk I would advise switching back to the original milk make sure u burp her every 30 ml in between feeds can use gripe water sit her up for at least 30 mins after feeding and try and do tummy time with her for at least 20 mins a day to g t her stomach muscles strong enough to burp easier and now my son sleeps through the night he’s 8 weeks old now on track with his weight crying alottt less x
With my first I changed from cow and gate to Hipp organic. After a week she was so much better and I’ve put my LB straight on it this time x
@Kelly it can take 2-3 weeks to notice a change unfortunately x
Could it be CMPA? My little girl had these symptoms and is going through trialing prescribed milk xx
@Kelly hey thanks for replying! I spoke to her doctor today and he's prescribed aptamil pepti 1 for cmpa Are you guys on the same one? How has your girl getting on? If you could message me I'd really appreciate it x
@Kelly @Beth how did your little ones get on with the aptamil comfort? we just switched two days ago so curious how it was for you x
@CeeCee were not on that one, we’re on prescribed milk now xx
We have done the same, we went from kendamil to aptamil comfort and il be honest it’s been a week for us and we haven’t noticed any changes yet 🥹 feeling a bit deflated by it. I was told we should notice a change within 48hours but 2 weeks for a full transition if no changes by the 2 weeks then it could be something else causing the discomfort. Hope you see some changes soon 🤞 x
