How do you know when it’s time to time your ‘contractions’. I’m a worry wart and get myself all worked up and anxious so I really don’t want to start putting the stress of a timer on unless we really think I should be?
I’ve been getting cramps from my back radiating into my abdomen and in my upper thighs since around 4pm. From what I could gather they were about 5-20 mins apart. They haven’t stopped, and I feel like their still around the same time frame but now also getting a tightening at the top of my stomach (uterus) too.
Do you guys think I should start timing, or wait until it hits a point that really demands my attention (noticeably in pain rather than slight discomfort). I have an NST scheduled for tomorrow at 2:30pm, so either way I’ll be seen sooner than later.
My issue is that I’m at home alone with my little until 11:30/12am when my partner gets in from work. I’d hate to rip her outta bed and to the hospital for nothing, or have to have a family member come and grab her.
Second pregnancy but my body didn’t naturally go into labor last time, I was induced with pitocin, so I had much much stronger contractions. This is making me feel out of place and like I may miss something that I should be getting looked at.
I’ve also had four (normal) bowel movements since 4pm, and got hit with a wave of fatigue too, along with increased discharge. Idk if that says anything but yeah!
Thanks in advance!! 🤍🤍🥰🥰🥰
