Hi mama! Our little summer babies turn 2 years old this year! Even though it’s months away- I was having a conversation with my mom about it and we were brainstorming ideas for a bit. I wanted to do a small get together last year for her first but it’s too blazing hot in August to have people outside and i don’t like having too many people in my house.. lol
Have any of you given it some thought? Have you planned it out yet? Any budget friendly suggestions? Share your thoughts 💜

Based on how terribly my (and husband's) extended family behaved around her 1st birthday, we are going to have a day out and if they decide to tag along thats their decision. We're thinking zoo in the morning while it's cool, lunch, then maybe science or children's museum.

Both our girls are August babies and we stick to parties at the park. We reserve the closes shelter / picnic area near the playground. This keeps the mess away from our home and there’s plenty of shaded areas

So I’m our house we don’t do birthday parties. We do small trips. For her birthday we took the family to NJ (just a ferry ride away) and spent the day at the aquarium and then went to eat. We are thinking for her next birthday we will do a few days at an indoor water park (great wolf lodge) but we are still thinking about it.

We're going on a cruise

Thankfully, we have a pool, so I'm comfortable hosting the boys' birthdays at home. We have a June AND an August baby. However, last year....was a bad experience from an outside source, and we couldn't use the pool. So, we had it at an indoor playground near our house. They provided cake, pizza, drinks, some sweets, plate, cups, and napkins. Though I purchased different items in advance, well before we had to quickly move the party, we still used them. I'm thinking of doing a combination birthday this year with his older brother because they both love Paw Patrol. I'm still out on debate, though.

Thank you for all your thoughts 💜

We’re thinking of going on a trip

We did a pool party at the local rec center pool this last year. It wasn’t too expensive and I think everyone was able to have fun.
