Stretch and sweep

Hey everyone, sound so silly but I’m so nervous to have a sweep done😂🙈I’m booked in for next Wednesday I will be 40+3 but I’m so scared but not in any way scared of labour/giving birth. Can I have some positive stories and is it even worth it as no sign of this little one any time soon!😩😩

I’m 41 weeks today! I have an appointment for a sweep at 2 and I have no idea whether to go for it or not because I feel the same as you. 🙈

😩honestly everyone I have asked have just said it’s uncomfortable but some people have said it really hurts!! I’m quite good with pain Iv had cervical examinations performed before due to my ovarian cysts but I’m so scared😂😂🙈🙈

Had my sweep on Thursday - and honestly it was absolutely fine! Uncomfortable / pressure but personally I didn’t find it painful. It was over within 2 minutes - focus on your breathing ☺️ xxx

I had two and they were fine! Not painful at all and I’d say “different” as opposed to uncomfortable. It’s really crude but I’d describe it as an aggressive fingering 🙈😂😅

I’m currently 40+4 and have had my first today! I’ve had little signs of my baby coming out anytime soon 😂 It was a little uncomfortable but not as bad as you see some people making out. Relax as much as you can (easier said than done I know!). I had my partner with me holding my hand which made me feel more comfortable and relaxed ☺️

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?

Thank you
