Our baby hates the car seat. She’s usually ok while moving but the process is terrible and I feel like I am losing my mind every time I have to take her out.
She’s great once we get there and she’s out of the car seat but will sometimes even cry the entire car ride.
Any advice or tips how to make it a better experience??
She’s almost 3 months.

Putting my son in the car seat can be challenging, once he’s in he is fine with it but some things I’ve been doing is just making sure he’s nice and calm beforehand then when I put him in I give him a minute to adjust himself/get comfortable with being in there while offering the pacifiers and gently rocking the car seat and shushing/telling him it’s okay. Then I do everything slowly while taking breaks for him to be okay with what I’m doing. It can take a while but he eventually gets settled. If he’s super freaking out I take him out and comfort then put him back in
Hope something I said is helpful!

Hello Angie! My baby was the same. Yesterday we finally got a car ride with no fuss. Maybe it’s just something they grow out.

Are you using an infant car seat that you can carry? Maybe try a convertible car seat that she can start using now and will go for the next few years. The angle is slightly different and she might prefer it.

yes she in her infant one now. But I can definitely try that thank you

Ours would cryyyyy so much in his. Then we realized it was time to take the insert out to make more space for him due to his weight / size. Once he had more room he’s been a lot better but he def doesn’t like it lol

I agree with if you can try a convertible seat. You’re able to get different reclines with them and that can often help a lot.
