Bath

How often do you bathe your little ones? My LG gets really sleepy before bedtime if we give her a bath just before bedtime, so it’s great for that, but I’m worried about doing it everyday in case it’s bad for her skin? My LG is 8 weeks

I bathed my first everyday and gave him lotion after.
my second gets a bath every other day because now I alternate between the baby and toddler each night, still with a lotion.

Every 3-4 days. Her skin was dry so the doctor has recommended lotion afterwards as said the water dries her

It's a bit grim but we only bathe our little girl once a week at the moment. Midwife said this was fine as long as we change nappy regularly and keep her clean. She sleeps really well so no need. Bath times are quite stressful and usually require me and my husband working as a team 🤣

Still clean her face and around neck daily with cotton wool and boiled water. She'll always have a deep sleep for about 2 hours after a bath so I can see why people do this as a bedtime routine.

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

6 month old autistism

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
