For those who are nursing to sleep and it still is the only option as to how the baby goes down to sleep for night and naps, don't worry it's not all doom and gloom. I've been reading and hearing from everywhere and anywhere that it's wrong and we are creating bad habits for the baby as they won't be able to link sleep cycles nd we will be doomed in being woken up as babies will need us again to assist them back to sleep several times a night - this was the case for us until recently, I believe we just came out of 2 massively long annoying regressions, but guess what good news, there is hope! For the last 2 nights my baby has slept 11 hours straight without needing any assistance at night, without a peep in his big boy cot in his own room. I didn't change anything, still feeding to sleep and feeding on demand, although I wanted to do some gentle sleep training, I had no idea where to start so I didn't really implement anything new. It did take some time but gradually he went from waking up 3 times a night to twice and then once a night, and now he is doing all night sleeping, which I'm hoping it will stay like this for some time before the next thing comes and hits, eg. rolling in his sleep. Just wanted to all give you a bit of a hope 😊 for reference, he's been in the big cot since before Christmas. Xx

Nothing wrong with feeding to sleep 🥰 I love our bedtime feeds.
My little one has always been fed to sleep but he *can* fall asleep not being fed. He often has daytime naps where he's just rocking in his swing chair and sleeps.
We just both prefer to be fed to sleep at night as he doesn't put up a fight, doesn't need endless rocking, shhing, patting etc which is stressful.
They won't need to be fed to sleep forever, they'll wean themselves from it when they're ready

Mine doesn’t feed to sleep anymore :(
