Sorry I know I shouldn’t complain as my daughter (15 weeks) is like I was when I was younger, can sleep anywhere… but it’s now making me not want to take her out in the afternoon for a walk as she ends up falling asleep and has then slept too much in the day.
We always head out in the morning for a class/ library, and having a short nap back & forth in the pram is fine for me as it’s often only a 10/15 min walk max. each way so that’s her morning nap for me. Now I’m starting to get her into a bit of a routine I’d like to go out again in the afternoon but when I do she falls asleep no matter how hard I try and distract her with toys etc. Any tips on how to keep her awake in the pram? It just helps break up the afternoon for me but I find she sleeps better at night if she’s not had that later nap in the pram that afternoon. It’s more for me to get out and do a bit of exercise with the walking and her to see different things as the morning walk isn’t long enough. Sorry I know I shouldn’t moan as it’s good she falls asleep in the pram and know others struggle to get them too.

Can your walk in the pram not be the same time as her afternoon nap? Then the walk is just her nap? I do that sometimes

She still needs a lot of daytime sleep at 15 weeks old though. She should be having an afternoon nap.

How much oz is she drinking are you feeding her before her walk maybe that’s why she keeps falling asleep, when I give my daughter 6oz she’d fall asleep more often through out the day !

Either schedule your walk for when your afternoon nap would be or do a nap before you go out for a walk and then a nappy change and get straight out. Hopefully if she's had a decent nap she won't be sleepy. But if I walk for longer than 30 minutes no matter what I do she falls asleep!
Thanks all
