Help pls pt. 2

So my second question 😭 today I found out I’m 1.5 cm dilated but ever since I got my cervix checked I’ve been having pain I want to say contraction-like (I’m still not sure how contractions feel exactly, it’s a pain in my lower belly part and my back a bit and just feels uncomfortable when I walk and my belly is sorta hard) could the cervix check have started labor for me? I’m 40 weeks tomorrow. Any advice helps my mom and sister want me to go in now

Are you bleeding?

this happened to me at my last check! i had super intense cramps and lost my mucus plug the day after and i thought i was in labor but 2 days later still nothing so it could just be from the check but keep monitoring how you feel and if the cramps/contractions get worse!

if you got a membrane sweep, it causes contraction like feeling & can cause you to go into labor!

You will know when you are in labor. If they keep picking up in intensity, I'd go in.

This can be normal after a cervical exam or after sex. If contractions are consistently getting stronger and closer together, this would indicate labor. Hopefully baby is coming soon!

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Hi guys so I’m 25 weeks today and I haven’t felt the baby kick at all yet at the scans she’s moving constantly that it’s hard to get the right measurements my first pregnancy was cryptic so I just want suggestions from one worried mother

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃
