7 month old not eating solids

My baby girl will be 7th month on 10th. I have tried feeding her purees but it seems she isn’t interested in solids at all. She doesnt open her mouth if I take the spoon near her mouth. I have to force feed her at times so she gets use too with the food. I have tried fruits puree and vegetable purees but nothing works. Anyone going through the same phase? Any suggestions on how to get her interested in eating solids

My girl wasn’t interested initially. I ditched purees and spoon and started giving bananas and avocados in this food feeder. Now she eats mashed bananas and avocados with some milk using a spoon. I try new food using this feeder and if she likes the taste I feed her using a spoon next time. Hope this helps.

She may not be ready. There surely isn’t a need to force feed her. Try putting a few things Infront of her- check solid starts for how to cut foods that she can grab and eat herself. But if she isn’t bringing things to her mouth on her own she may just not be ready yet.

Initially my little guy only liked banana puree as well as oats mixed with breast milk (fresh not frozen). I also made sure he was hungry before attempting to feed him. For the first couple of weeks I sat him in my lap for all feeding attempts instead of the high chair, this really helped. Good luck mama!!

We’re kind of going through the same. We’re doing baby led weaning and using solid starts for prep knowledge etc. Baby is more interested in playing with the food vs eating it. I’ve taking banana and avocado to her mouth for her, she will open and bite off a piece but gives a face and doesn’t bring it to her mouth on her own yet. 7 months on Friday

Do men really enjoy fellatio?

Been together more than 10 years, but it's been a while since he even seemed remotely interested in me getting on my knees, or vice versa so to speak. I think it was once last year. Must be something I am doing wrong 🤔. Generally everything else in that department is great and we have two young kids with no extra support, so it's quite surprising we can't keep our hands off each other but may need to try new things. It's basically 2 positions each time with some foreplay.

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Naps

How is everyone doing for naps?

Little one is 9 months old and will have 2 half hour naps and one solid 1 hour - 2 hour nap a day

Then settles for night around 9pm. Wakes for a feed around 3:30 then sleeps until 6-7

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.

Pumping advise

FTM to a 2 week old! I’m breastfeeding and then giving one formula bottle last in the evening before bed. I want to start expressing milk to give me some breathing room and also allow my partner to be more involved in feeding. I’m finding the idea of introducing pumping into my day quite overwhelming though. I don’t want to take milk away from my baby by pumping if he needs it during the day when being breastfeed.

Can anyone advise how I start pumping and when to do it? Thank you!
