Sleep Regression at 6 months?

We really lucked out with our daughter, she was such a good sleeper, and would wake up happy and smiling and babbling away… until around Christmas (when she turned 6 months)

She has gone back to the super new born days of only sleeping on me, hates her cot (which she used to love?! Could it be too small? )
Scream cries in the middle of the night out of no where
Really interrupted sleep and generally really fussy 😩

WHAT is happening?!

She’s also just started solid foods, and is starting to sit alone and is rolling (could this be it?!)
It’s been a few weeks now and I’m exhausted

Sounds like the sleep regression! Were going through the same, although we co-sleep from the minute I put her to bed she’s constantly moving around in her sleep and wakes around 1:45 every night and doesn’t go back off until around 3am! Were lucky that’s our only wake up but it’s exhausting, hoping it doesn’t last too long 😫

Sleep regression is at 4,6 8 and 12 months.. Even though sometimes it feels like its never ending as buy the time they get over one, they're into the next one haha

Definitely sounds like sleep regression.
My little boy was 6 months old on the 4th of jan and he has been up more in the night and needing to be cuddled to go back to sleep.
He started this about 3 weeks before he turned 6 months and it’s passing now :)

Could it be the size of her bed size cot ? I bought a new one that’s larger, incase she needs more space now …. ?

This is my boy, we were up every hour last night.

We never got out of the 4 month regression either 🫠🫠

The cot refusal is so hard, we’ve had it on/off since November and it’s bad at the moment. He only wants to sleep on my chest!

Literally no advice but you’re not alone!

Yea same as mine, absolutely horrendous. Teething plus learned to sit and roll so the triple nightmare with a regression. Last night he woke up 9 times crying, sometimes it's 11.

Omg .. it’s awful. To the point where I wake up with back pain and a stiff neck from being up and tense all night

As much as its awful its such a relief in a way to know its not just our baby being a gremlin!

Wdy think of this for a toddler to learn word construction?

Do men really enjoy fellatio?

Been together more than 10 years, but it's been a while since he even seemed remotely interested in me getting on my knees, or vice versa so to speak. I think it was once last year. Must be something I am doing wrong 🤔. Generally everything else in that department is great and we have two young kids with no extra support, so it's quite surprising we can't keep our hands off each other but may need to try new things. It's basically 2 positions each time with some foreplay.

Naps

How is everyone doing for naps?

Little one is 9 months old and will have 2 half hour naps and one solid 1 hour - 2 hour nap a day

Then settles for night around 9pm. Wakes for a feed around 3:30 then sleeps until 6-7

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Pumping advise

FTM to a 2 week old! I’m breastfeeding and then giving one formula bottle last in the evening before bed. I want to start expressing milk to give me some breathing room and also allow my partner to be more involved in feeding. I’m finding the idea of introducing pumping into my day quite overwhelming though. I don’t want to take milk away from my baby by pumping if he needs it during the day when being breastfeed.

Can anyone advise how I start pumping and when to do it? Thank you!

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.
