I'm a first time mum. Unplanned so don't have a clue what I am doing/need. I bought a set which has in it a steriliser 8 bottles 2 different sizes a brush some insulated bags and this heater. Can you only use the heater for formula milk or breast milk too? Will I need a prep machine or does this heater do the same thing? 🤯🤯

Defo a prep machine as this takes longer to warm up! Prep machine is a life saver I bought the ready made as well as breast feeding. Try not to stress and do whats best for you and baby xxx

Thankyou!! Xox

Prep machine is a life saver! Especially for night feeds!

@Katherine Thanks what about the rapid cool flasks also? Xoxo

We use this for breast milk if I’ve pumped it and it’s been stored in the fridge, it can take a little bit to heat up but I wouldn’t say too long. I can’t really comment on formula as we’ve never formula fed

we used the nuby rapid cool flask for when out and about (we used the pre made formula in little bottles and used it to warm it up as LO didn’t like room temp milk x

@Jess thanks I am thinking I may do both so that's great 🩷🩷

The warmer can be used on a lot of things.
You can put breast milk/formula (bottle or poutch). Note MAM anti colic bottles are not suitable for this warmer.
Later, even food pouches, although i preferthe microwavefor that. It's a very simple design it boils up periodically. Although I would get some citric acid to clean it or any other descaling agent.
Same for the steriliser (I have the set). I would turn it on, let it boil up with the descaling agent, and turn it off, let it sit until it cools down, wipe clean and done.
Prep machines are a life saver 🙌 I loved our babybrezza that one is the best as you do not need to do anything with it, just a button press. They can get pricy tough.
Alternatively, you can prep anything in advance. There are multiple options.
