Most articles you read say to stop bottles at about 12 months and replace with giving milk from cups. We personally stopped giving bottles at about 18 months. She has plenty of cheese and yoghurt, and we give a cup of milk sometimes. Our LO has water before she goes to bed now instead and we leave her water bottle in the cot for during the night. I actually found that she ate more solids after stopping the milk bottles. She wouldn't eat a big dinner as she was relying on the milk. Once the milk stopped, she replaced the calories with food. Might be worth a try? Our LO also pokes and prods her food before deciding if she wants to eat it 😆

We have kept up the bottle cause he isn't gaining weight as he doesn't eat fruit or meat we try him with lamb pork and chicken only think he will eat is spaghetti which I put zucchini Mushrooms Carrots and will eat weet bix which is a help for breakfast

I feel this with my 23 month old he refuses to give up his bottle before bed and upon waking in the morning

Yeah he takes me to the kitchen to his prep machine and then runs to his pillow with so much excitement

Hmmm yeah we still do bottles of milk with our little one (before day sleep and before night sleep, also occasionally on wake up) 😬 and she’s not a very good eater. I do wonder if she’d eat more if she had less milk.

@Ali omg thank you I feel so alone my son doesn't really eat and hasn't gain any weight in months maybe 6 months or more
