Appointments

Same here, my next appointment is at 28 weeks and I believe the one prior to that was around 16 weeks. Really unfair 😞x

It’s because it’s your second pregnancy I’m not sure why either but I have my next at 28 weeks too. You can request an appointment my midwife give me the choice but with all my scans and GD test I chose not too have one at 25 weeks and said if I have any problems I’ll call.

Unless you had complications in the first pregnancy they aren't too worried about apts in the 2nd. I'm having a lot of apts but baby has a congenital abnormality and I am high risk pre eclampsia as I had that last time as well as at risk for gd and suffer hyper mobility

My next is 28 weeks also. I'm high risk (1st Birth was pre term at 34 weeks) and this is my 3rd pregnancy. I'm a little happy to wait to 28 weeks as I have appointments at hospital on average twice a week for me and baby. But I do contact midwife when I feel I need to in the meantime.
My 2nd pregnancy was a lot easier but I was happy to wait for midwife at 28 weeks also as I wanted to enjoy my pregnancy without constant appointments. (The area I was under for 2nd pregnancy dropped the ball on my care so they didn't flag up high risk pregnancy for extra hospital appointments) my 2nd pregnancy was full term with no health issues for me and baby.
This 3rd pregnancy is definitely my hardest with HG sickness, insomnia from very early on, pelvic girdle pains, mental health, and also diagnosed with auto immune disorder during 1st trimester (was bed bound for nearly 3 months before diagnosis!!)
