Induction Day

Oh my goodness! I can’t believe that we’re finally here. We’ve been longing for this since the moment we fell pregnant 😅 it’s so bittersweet, I’ve loved being pregnant but also found it quite difficult… sad that the journey is coming to an end but absolutely terrified, excited of what’s to come next!😅

Be prepared for it to be slow going. I came in yesterday at 1pm to begin the process and I haven’t got far as of yet. Have had 2 sets of gels and am just waiting to be examined and then have the third set. I am dilating a bit more but still a long way to go. Bring lots of hospital entertainment, pillow from home, comforts etc as we are nearly 24 hours in and losing our minds!! Oh eye mask and ear plugs are a must as it’s noisy on the ward and you don’t get your own room until you’re in delivery xx

Thankyou! I’m going in with an open mind 🤣 they’ve told us it can take up to 5 days so I’m sticking with that. Anything less is a bonus 🤣🤣🤣 I’ve had to pep talk myself! Definitely going to take my own pillow just for home comforts 🥰 I can imagine the waiting game is horrible!! I wish you all the luck in the world xx

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?

Thank you

Random one!

My 5 month old has only ever had tears from one eye the other has never had a single tear, it doesn't look red gunky or anything just never had a tear?
Is this anything to worry about ? I did ask the doctor while she was younger but it's still going on!
