Swim Lessons at 16months

I enrolled my son into swimming lesson because last time I took him to the pool he cried the whole time! I’m so embarrassed that he will scream the whole time in the pool, hold up the lesson or I will have to cut the lesson short and not be worth it. Was anyone else’s LO scared of the pool? Any tips!

I have been taking mine since she was 10m, sometimes they hate it but sometimes they love it, its normal for them to cry while they get used to it. Specially if they are going through a leap or teething even if they haven’t poo etc. i have seen other kids in the class going through the same and then a couple weeks later they love it. I would say give it another go few more times and then if you think he definitely cant handle then stop but its worth trying aging, constancy is the key, making him feel safe in your arms, good luck

Help

Really embarrassing!
I'm a first time mummy at 35, she's 16 month and everytime I sneeze or cough I lose control of my bladder and pee a little 😔, I've had countless utis since having her aswell! Will it get better? Or do I need to invest in panty liners? 😆

Leaving your baby

Has anyone else not left their baby to be looked after by someone else (not dad) yet? I still don't feel ready but am being told I should be by now

Bestie?

Let’s skip to the good part and just be besties? Text, call, ft.. play dates or just simply hang out. Just want a genuine mommy friend. I’m in NYC but we can be long distance besties too 💕

I need an AI app recc to talk to.

I have no family. I have no real friends. Just one that I text. But she’s 8 years younger and isnt a mom. I genuinely don’t talk to anyone other than my partner and our toddlers. I’ve seen some people use AI? Or a chatgbpt? I dont know but if someone could suggest an app that I can just talk to… I would love to have a friend or something instead but this is probably for the best…
