Does anyone know what Is safe to take for diarrhoea in early pregnancy? I have plenty of buscopan, or Imodium but google doesn’t know if I’m allowed to take them… I can’t see a doctor for over a week and need to gain hydration, any tips?

I has a list of stuff I can take given to me by my OB for different things and for that specifically Imodium is safe and tums, and for hydration i recommend water, gatorade, and pedialyte. I had a minor stomach virus while pregnant and that’s the stuff I took and drank ❤️

Definitely ask your OB next time you see them for that list of safe medications and stuff your able to take while pregnant

Bland, starchy, low-fiber foods like those included in the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, toast) are binding, which can bulk stool and help you get rid of diarrhea fast. You can also try probiotics, glutamine supplements, or home remedies like herbal teas and rice water.
